My stapler is busted so I asked my co-worker if I could use her stapler and she practically whined like a baby that she was about to use it. OK...why do people get so territorial about their office supplies? I work literally 10 feet away from her, it's not going anywhere.

One of my colleagues has her initials on ALL her supplies - scissors, stapler, etc. And she's pretty much retired so she has claim over objects she uses maybe one a month. Freaks.

I get very annoyed when it comes to my office supplies also. That's only because nobody ever returns anything they borrow. My scissors, tape dispensor, stapler, ruler and three hole punch have all been taken and not returned. And don't even get me started on pens. Ive had to keep a stash in my bag where I know no one would dare take them.
