NWR: anti-Obama commercial

NWR: anti-Obama commercial

I was watching TV last night, might have been during House, and the weirdest commercial came on. Basically it showed a bunch of old white men (not exactly sure who they were, maybe democratic policitians?) and talked about how voting for Obama would be 4 more years of 'the same old thing' and then cut to a pic of Obama... and then at the end had magical music and a pic of McCain looking up at the sky, and said to vote for McCain for change.

DH and I went back and watched it 2 more times bc we were like... this is so funny, McCain looks exactly like all of the old white men they are talking about, and how are they saying Obama is '4 more years of the same' when McCain voted with bush like 90% of the time. I feel like McCain totally stole Obama's 'campaign slogan' and the whole thing has me going I felt like it was an Obama commercial with the candidates switched.... and i was just surprised that the McCain campaign put that commercial out there

Anyone see this commercial? Maybe the change they talk about is nixing Roe v. Wade, etc?

I didn't see it but I am tired of both of them not addressing the issues. I know who I am voting for because of what he stands for and his views on choice, education, etc but it seems like they both are really good at one thing: avoiding the issues. I could go on and on but I don't want to start lol

I didn't see that but it sounds totally akin to the entire situation. I feel like McCain is the jealous little brother (ironic, since he is old as ballls) who just tries to discreetly copy Obama. He was jealous of Obama's supposed 'celebrity' so he picked a VP candidate who would have 'star power' (as far as politicians go, I suppose). He called Obama inexperienced and then he picked and even more inexperienced VP candidate. Now it sounds like he basically just took an Obama commercial and put himself in the Obama position. Hilarious.

ETS: Not trying to start drama by my remarks re: Palin, so please don't be offended, etc.
