I get attacks from time to time. I have found recently, breathing in my nose and out my mouth several times helps alot. Also, I read this somewhere. Close your eyes and picture the outline of a body filled in with the color red. Then picture the red draining out and being replaced by the color blue. This helps to calm down.

Mine started in college - I am still struggling with weather I should go to a doctor and get something for it. Normally I go for a run and have some tea and it gets me through for the day/night. However, sometimes I have strings of nights when I can't sleep because my anxiety is so bad. I've actually been okay with the wedding. I found that taking a break from LIW can help if you're experiencing wedding-related anxiety.

As someone who has suffered with it for years I would suggest going to a dr. What happens with high anxiety is that your levels are so high that everything will set it off so the meds bring your anxiety level to a normal level. also it helps to go talk to someone as well to get your feelings out. When you first start the meds it will actually make you feel worse but stick with it and eventually you will feel so much better. I hardly ever get anxiety attacks anymore. You also have to remember that your symptoms are not because there is something physically wrong with you. When you feel one coming on it is important to tell yourself you are ok and in a safe place and just close your eyes and breathe. Hope that helped alittle I know how bad it can suck. I tell my FH sometimes I wish I could just be 'normal' like everyone else.
