I'm trying to get into bartending as a part time gig...where can I expect to make the most $$..busy clubs..upscale restaurants..any advice from experience bartenders would be helpful.

Clubs. I bartended in small bars, and made anywhere from 50-250 per night (including $30 shift fee) depending on the night. The Clubs are where more of the money is in bartending, as there is a larger crowd to serve.
Its also harder to get into the busy clubs though, and the restaurants usually start you as a server and you work up to bartender.

Definitely clubs. Ive done bottle service at clubs for a while now and know firsthand that the bartenders make amazing money.

It depends.. I worked in a restaurant where I was making btwn $600-1000 a week working like 4 shifts..
You can also make money at clubs..
But I used to do bottle service in NYC and the Hamptons and everywhere in between and honestly, THAT's where the $$$ is at!!
