NWR- any medical people out there? (warning gross pics)

WARNING THIS IS GROSS



so on sat I was pushed and busted up my knee pretty bad... well at least it feels pretty bad. its more or less rug burn... but i don't remember ever having rug burn like this.

I've been putting neosporan on it and keeping it bandaged...
yesterday i bought bactine and more bandages AND bandages that have antibacterial stuff on them already.

so last night i spray the bactine and put on a bandage for about 2 hours.. I take it off and it looks like this:

its kinda a yellowish/greenish yuck..

is that good or bad??

what should I do?

not a doctor but have a very complicated medical history so i'm fairly familiar with medical stuff

from the pic (its hard to tell) it looks to me like it COULD be impetago, which sometimes happens when a cut/scratch gets infected. it needs to be treated with antibiotic at that point so i would highly suggest seeing a doctor

def impatago!!!!!!! i have had it before, it resembles ringworm

if you left the bandaid off the yellow greenish gunk would turn ints a scab...

I always notice that when you keep a cut covered it never heals right

i was thinking that too.. but it hurts like hell with nothing on it. and my pants rub against it and get stuck... OMG that was gross- taking off my leggings...

yes. i'm more convinced after that description that it is impetago. some antibiotics should clear it up in a couple days!
