NWR: Any mental health professionals here? HELP

I need some help here. One of my family members had a VERY difficult year last year, including a divorce. She's having a really hard time moving on with her life and it is drastically effecting her sleep and work. I think she needs to see somebody just to listen to her and help her deal, whether it be a counselor, social worker or psychologist. Does anybody know of anyone on the South Shore of Western Suffolk county area?

I am a social worker. Call 1-800-273-TALK. They may be able to refer you to mental health counselors in Long Island.

Good Luck...I used to work for the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy in NYC---some of the therapists there have practices on LI as well.
