FH and I are looking to get away for around 4 nights and want to do something on the cheaper side. Puerto Rico is having great deals right now and it's so cheap to fly there so I'm leaning towards that right now. Does anyone have any hotel/resort recommendations? I want to be ON the beach. I don’t want to have to get in a car or bus or anything to have to get to a beach.

we stayed at the el san juan 2x... its part of the waldorf astoria collection, we got engaged there, looooove it!!! soooo amazing!

We went and stayed at the Intercontinental, right on the water. It was beautiful, loved every minute of it! Later on when we went on a cruise we made sure it stopped in San Juan. and yea their outlets are great, gotta make time for shopping.

I been there love it but stayed with FH family so i am no help with hotels but have to go to the bacardi factory it's sooo cheap

meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ive been 5 times hehe..i loveeeeee it there (and fh proposed there)..i alternate between the caribe hilton and the embassy suites in isla verde when i go..the hilton has a private beach which is awesome, but theres not much in the area at night-the closest thing to do is take the bus to old san juan (it costs 50 cents each way)..theres also a mortons steak house in the hotel that's really good..isla verde has a lot of stuff to do in the area, and its a 1 minute walk to the beach..they also have an amazing breakfast thats included along with a happy hour

I'm going to San Juan with 3 girlfriends October 4-October 7th and it is super cheap! We are flying Jetblue ($89 each way) and staying at the Marriott (i am actually using points for 2 of the nights and we are paying $159 a night for the other 2 nights). I haven't been but its an amazing deal and we just booked last week.
