as far as him getting in trouble... whether he was drunk or not, he broke the law of the city he was in. it was stupid. maybe he made the illegal u-turn b/c he was drinking. we'll never know.
i think all cities and areas should have a lower blood alcohol level when it comes to DUIs.
it'd save a lot of lives.

Actually, I’m pretty sure California has the same limit as us. It’s not just over .08, it’s .08 and up. That could be anywhere near four drinks.

I dunno, I personally think it’s ridiculous that these people don’t just have someone else drive them. I would LOVE to have a personal chauffeur so I wouldn’t have to take skeezy car services home when I’ve been drinking!

remember the 80s? all the big stars had limos and drivers NOW I guess they want to show off thier hot cars so they drive themselves - it is so dumb and sets a poor example.

i had a friend who had 1 drink and blew .08 when he got pulled over....it all depends i guess. I dont let steve drive if he has 1 drink....its never gonna stop so we just have to get used to it i guess, as much as it ***** it will be something we all have to deal with forever

i had a friend who had 1 drink and blew .08 when he got pulled over....it all depends i guess. I dont let steve drive if he has 1 drink....its never gonna stop so we just have to get used to it i guess, as much as it ***** it will be something we all have to deal with forever

It all depends on your weight, height, tolerance level, how much you’ve eaten, etc. For example, my sister had (supposedly two drinks) and ended up in the hospital where her BAC was a 2! Not .2 but 2.0! She’s a tiny little thing and was doing a whole bunch of other messed up stuff though.

I don't feel bad for him.

My 18 year old brother was hit by a drunk driver a few years ago... He was in the back seat with 2 other friends (at the time they were 15)... One of the kids grandparents were in the front seats. They were hit by a guy driving home from a holiday party and one of the grandparents was killed in the acciden...My brother was unconcious on the freezing ground upstate and broke his jaw and his ankle/ lower leg. The other kids had bad injuries as well. Maybe this will teach Kiefer a lesson and next time he will call a car service when he decides to drink. Celebrity or not- drinking & driving is a HUGE problem and when it affects your life personally- you have no sympathy...

You are right. I was not defending his actions. Bad Keifer. Just upset he is going to jail. I love him & I am obsessed with 24. I know it makes me biased. Never really cared one way or another about Lindsey or Britney. At least those two have some sort of talent. I was one of those people who said they should lock Paris up & throw away the key. I have yet to figure out what the deal is with her. She is famous because why? All I can come up with is for being a spolied little rich girl.

Not offended It's amazing how your perspective on things change when you've gone it... I hope stories like my brothers, when told, make people aware of what can happen with drinking & driving. Especially with the holidays coming up- even to be careful yourself for others on the road!
