NWR: Anyone else's cat acting like a goddamned imbecile these past couple of nights?!
I fkn hate full moons. Every four weeks, he runs rampant through the house and knocks things down and gets that crazy look in his eyes while clawing things...including me.

Yeah, except mine is always a fckn lunatic...running from the bottom of the stairs, tearing through to the back of the apartment like a madman (madcat?)

yup... clover tried to defend Mike when bear was attacking him!!!! CLOVER HAS NO CLAWS!!!!! she got this intense angry look on her face and lunged at bear. thank god mike caught her because bear would have torn her to shreds!!! the poor thing is clueless that she's clawless. the instinct never goes away i guess.
oh and helmut just came home with a REALLY fat tail. he was obviously just fighting something. now he's sleeping though lol

Yeah Mudd is also usually on edge and crazy...so this just makes it that much worse. I have to duck when he decides to soar over the couch!!!
I was just telling Neel that like a month before the wedding, I'm going to have to be a lot less hands-on with Mudd because I don't want all these scratches on me in the photos. I play rough with him and have a bunch of scars from it.
I need to put him back on his anti-anxiety meds. They're herbal and sometimes I take them too just because.

YES!!!!!!!! and one of the Little babies RAN over my face while I was SOUND asleep and scratched my upper lip, inside of my lip too! Scared the crap out of me!!!!

Our cats usually never act out on a full moon, but this time one of them has been crying and whining a lot that we don't give him enough food - he has a whole ball of his fav food! W t h? And when I don't pay attention to his crying he scratches the TV box like crazy. I just know he is doing it on purpose to bug me!

Yes - but my cat is ALWAYS crazy and running around like a friggin lunatic...so I guess it doesnt count that it is abnormal lol

my kittens are insane. but they always are
they think it's a fun game to climb up the tall dresser, jump to the lower one, run across it, jump down, run across the room, over the bed, to the other side.... and back again while we're sleeping

YES! Mine got locked in the bedroom with the dreaded vacuum cleaner and was attached to the bed when I opened the door and then decided to claw me when I tried to rescue him from said room. Gotta love the kitties!
