Chi Turbo is the best, I try many other brand, even Japanese Straightening. I still find Chi Turbo is the best!

MAXIGLIDE!!!! I have very thick hair and it's naturally curly. I stopped going to the salon to get my hair straightened after getting the maxiglide!!!! Basically I just let my hair airdry or pass the blower quickly to get it dry, then I use the maxiglide to get my hair straight.
It has a steam button which helps get out any 'kinks' in the curls etc. THat is the best feature of it.
I'm surprised someone above said it made her hair dry. Honestly, this is the only thing I can use to get my hair straight without having to use rollers, sit in a dryer and then blow dry it. I save so much time! I got mine at BBB too. And it's very durable too; I've banged it up by mistake and it's FINE!
I also highly recommend SEDU. I can't get my hair straight from curly with it, but if my hair is straight but frizzy or puffy, I can use the Sedu to get it slick, stick straight (or round the ends) and sleek. It's pricey, but it's really good. My girlfriends got it for me as my birthday and Christmas (same day) gift for me a couple of years ago.
I'm not coordinated enough to use a regular dryer & curly brush

Chi or Rusk -- they are $$, but they work well and last. I used to work at Ulta and those are the best. I've had my rusk for about 2yrs
