Ugh, so I need a podiatrist. I hurt my toe, and it's not broken but still hurts, and I think I have a neuroma on that same foot. Sorry for the TMI. Anyone have a good doc in Suffolk? I usually find docs at work but we don't see many podiatrists in the ICU!

Re: NWR: Anyone know a good podiatrist???
I was treated for morton's neuroma last year by:
Dr. Michael Tumen - 4333 Merrick Rd. in Massapequa...516-541-1591.
He's the Cheif of Foot Surgery at New Island Hospital. He was very cautious in my treatment and he exhausted all options before we finally decided to have surgery to remove the neuroma... I went from not being able to wear high heels for a year to wearing 4' heels on my wedding day! He's great

Dr. John J. Hickey, DPM 2870 Hempstead Tpke Ste 103 Levittown, NY 11756 (516) 735-4545
Dr. Gus A Constantouris, DPM Dr. Eileen Constantouris, DPM 69 VETERANS HWY STE 1 COMMACK, NY11725 Phone: (631) 462-2033
I've been to both. Dr. Hickey is a personal friend of my mom - he's friendly and funny but his office is a little retro. Drs. Constantouris are a husband-wife team that are very nice, but Dr. Gus is much better IMO. They're harder to get appointments with b/c their office is more technologically savvy and nice.
