I just adopted a 7 week old kitten and need to bring him in to see a Vet for his shots and for a check up. Anyone use and recommend a Vet around the Mineola area that is good? I know that Mineola Animal Hospital is near me but I’ve heard very bad things about them. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

i have a vet that i HIGHLY recommend but unfortunately he is located in commack- i don't know if that is too far for you...
his name is dr. gurtman and he is at commack animal hospital in east northport. 631-499-5522
he is fantastic- and not bad on the eyes

I know a great one in merrick. I go to dr. marghoob. she has done wonders for many pets including my kitten who came from a cattery with a bad case of ringworm.
also cant HIGHLY reccomend them [i dont own a pet, fh does though] and I know he takes his dog to Sunrise Animal Hospital on Sunrise Hwy in Rockville Centre

Don't know if Huntington is too far for you but Fort Hill Animal Hospital (Dr. Travis) is great! Haven't used them in a few years (I moved) but they took care of my pets the whole time I was in NY - great for boarding too!

I highly, I highly recommend: Feline Veterinary Hospital in Port Washington (2 blocks from North Shore Animal League)
Dr. Marcia Landefeld is a miracle worker. They only treat cats. I have been taking my boys to her for 7 years. 516-944-9301

I highly recommend my vet Dr. Karmin at the Bellerose animal hospital, He saved my cat! She was very sick from severe Hyperthyroidism and was down to 4lbs, and he was so carful with her because her heart and liver was getting damaged from the thyroid tumor and he made all the right decisions and she is so healthy now! Hi there...my friend takes her dogs to Franklin Square animal hospital...don't know how close that is to you! If you don't mind a drive, I take my doggie to Deer Park Animal Hospital (Dr. Meyer!)
