I grew up in Levittown but went to St James in Seaford. It is on the corner of Hicksville and Seamans neck road. That is actually where we are getting married. Its a very nice church.

St. Williams in Seaford is nice. I used to go there sometimes when I was younger. It is just south of Sunrise near rte 135.

I know what you mean. I just moved to Patchogue and we haven't picked a new church cause I just don't know where to go! Maybe you should go to a a different one each week until you decide which you like?

I am so bored at work today so I will tell you a story about St. James.... I went there since I was very young and it used to be a really old church. One day we were at the Saturday night mass and my dad looks up at the ceiling and says 'This place is going to fall down'.. sure enough the very next day the church collapsed right after mass.. Thankfully not a single person was hurt.... Since then I swear my dad is psychic lol. Anyhow, they built a brand new church that is big and beautiful there in its place.

I am not going to lie I am not a religious person. So, I really don't know what you are going through but I hear this all the time. I would suggest going to a few and meeting with a priest and chit chat with them and get a feel for the congregation. JMO

St Williams is on Jackson Avenue in Seaford. In Massapequa on Merrick Rd you will find St. Rose of Lima

I think there's one at the corner of Jerusalem Avenue and Hicksville Road (107). It's a beautiful church but I've never been there.

I used to volunteer at St. James, with their youth group. It's a nice church. I hear St. William the Abbott is also very nice as well - I think it is in Massapequa though? - a few people I used to work with at St. James go there now.

I think you are thinking of Maria Regina -- almost on the corner of Jerusalem and 107.

someone I know who does alot in the St James parrish says the priests have changed from years past and she likes those who work at Maria Regina better and goes there more often for mass - - if that helps any.

we got married at Maria Regina and think it's nice. big parking lot too and traffic flow might be a little easier there than at William the Abbot.

also there's St Frances de Chantal on Wanyagh Aveabout 1 block south of jerusalem ave for another choice.
