Might be looking at houses or at least a starter house. Has to be somewhere close to the LIRR (babylon line) and in Nassau County. Alot of searches are coming up Baldwin? I live in Seaford so its not too far but Whats it like, what was school like? dangerous - or quite? any info is great - TIA

One of my BMs lives in Baldwin and we went to Oceanside HS together, so depending on what part of Baldwin it may be Oceanside School District. Oceanside schools are good. Baldwin also has 3 different areas...Baldwin Harbor, South Baldwin and North Baldwin.

My sister just bought in Baldwin and we grew up in Oceanside like ever town you have the good and the bad. I do know you can get a nice house for a decent price in Baldwin. Look in the Poet Section of Baldwin its over by plaza school nice neighbor .

I live in Baldwin - have my whole life. Went to Baldwin Schools and my parents have been here for 36 years now I think.

I live in Oceanside. if you live in south baldwin on the water its a nice area but you kids have to go to catholic school bc north baldwin isnt too good. try Oceanside or Rock ville center if you like that area.

We moved from Baldwin when I was little b/c my sister was about to start Baldwin HS - not great. We lived in Baldwin Harbor and the elementary schools were awesome (at least they were 20 years ago, not sure now obviously LOL). If it is a started house I think you would be safe school wise and then consider moving before the upper grades begin

would you consider a bit more east like Bellmore.? House prices are down there as well and the schools are much better.
