I love my amex rewards card. I use the Blue, I have gotten so much with my points.

i get cash back with my citi card... when i first signed up it was 5% back on groceries, gas and prescriptions and 1% back on everything else. i think its 1% and 2% now, not sure, but it adds up and they write me a check

I think this is Chase card? I have it too, it was really nice to get a check for $50 bucks after I spent like 3000. The % is confusing, I know I get at least 1% then 3% from some vendors, then 2% some other times...
Well I got a check though, and I love Chase! I have the continental airlines debit card with them too, for years, never used the miles, got a free flight to Austin this past winter. It was great. I got a free flight to FL a few years ago through it.

i have 3....
1. Discover cash back card 1% and up on everything, depends on what and when, changes all the time
2.Citibank dividend card 5% on gas, groceries, and pharmacies with 1% on everything else *my favorite*
3. Costco AmEx, just got it jointly with FH, dont really know much on rewards
all 3 give checks, true cash back!!!!!

Discover gas card gives you 5% back on gas purchases and 1% back on all other purchases

Fortunoff's is over 5% of whatever is purchased on your registery. That means you get a $25 gift certificate for every $500 purchased off your registry. You get double points if you purchase anything off your registry yourself.

Thanks! I was thinking citibank.. but why does the % decrease?
my mom keeps raving about american express, but no financial rewards back and you have to pay a fee for extra options and all...
but I definately need a new cc.. my student cc is ridiculous now that i'm working full time for 4 years and going to be married..

I have a diamond rewards card from citibank and a dividend card from citibank. The dividend card gives you cash back that you can use for whatever. The diamond rewards gives you thank you points and you get extra points for shopping with certain stores, etc.
I like both cards because I get a lot more extra points with the diamond rewards - just sent away for $200 gift card from pottery barn to buy a coffee table, and the cash back is nice too.
i put my reoccuring bills onto my cashback credit card, so cable and cell phone - the cash back does really add up after a few months, just pay it off every month to avoid the finance charges

LOVELOVE LOVE my Discover card!!!! Last Christmas I made almost $100 back on all my spending in 2 months. FH and I are doing home renovations AND wedding planning.. One mediocre purchase online at Lowe's and I got $21 cash back. It's all adding up and hoping to use it to help pay off the rest of my gown or help with our honeymoon. 5% cash back quarterlies with 1% on everything else. however, if you buy through their online partners (ALmost every major company is on there) you get 5-25% back!
