There saying a tornado may have touched down there, this is where FH works and he is not answering his phone or emails. There also saying there was half dollar sized hail in East Setauket, which is where he lives. If anyone is in that area can you let me know what the weather was like?
I'm in Nesconset and it is still raining but was very windy and pouring for a while.
My FH is in Selden and he said that there was pretty heavy rain and wind, but that's it.
what is with all these tornadoes all of a sudden--we had a tornado warning out east a few days ago-its so unheard of! I used to live in port jeff-thats where my grandma lives...maybe i'll give her a call and see if she's ok
Just called DH in Mt. Sinai/Pt. Jeff. It got hairy, but he didn't know anything about a tornado. I called him on the landline, so those are still up and functioning (at least along 25A / 347 area)
He just called me and said hes fine.. Im thinking it was probably worse further north, hes just south of 347.
