NWR-Anyone renting an apartment??

With all of the wedding planning and other stuff I haven't posted in awhile and we completely forgot that on top of planning the wedding, we also have to find an apartment!
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone out there is renting or know someone who is renting a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment between $900-1200 a month? We are really only looking in the mid to eastern Nassau Co area to Huntington/Babylon area. We would like to stay above the S. State Parkway.
We are trying to find one for rent by owner (we both paid big bucks (1 month rent)to real estate agents who did nothing but basically give us the addresses to our current places), but if in dire need, we will work with a realtor.
Oh yeah, and we need the apartment for June 1st. Hoping someone has something Thanks!!!

I posted this on NWR also, I know the rules about not posting on the BHB board, but I need someplace to LIVE!

Have you checked out Fairfield in Babylon Village? It doesnt meet all of your criteria, but, I can tell you about it if you wish. I just moved there and so far, I love it. I am not sure of the telephone number, but, I think their website is fairfieldproperties.com. Good luck!
