Hi everyone, I'm sorry to say that I'm having a few medical problems and am no longer able to care for my baby lexus. She is a 5 y/o pure breed american bulldog. She is a very kid friendly and gentle dog. But unfortunately she does not get along with other dogs. She weighs about 75lbs. She is housebroken, has been spayed and has all her vaccines.
We've had her since she was 6wks old and are very heartbroken. I just want to find her a good loving home.

i'm so sorry you have to give her up....i love all bully breeds and would take her if i didn't have two myself since she'd obviously need a one dog household....try a bulldog rescue organization...they have long island based ones.

Thanks, I've tried contacting the american bulldog rescue in PA and NY, nobody has returned my call.

ufortunately the process usually does take some time. I have gone through breed specific rescue myself. The good thing is you know they are all people who love and apreciate the breed.

awww, im sorry to hear that. she is sooo adorable! i wish i had the space and time to have a dog. hope you find a good house for her.

She is aggressive towards other dogs. Not sure why.
Shes not aggressive towards people or children. My son pulls on her tail, jumps on her, sticks his hand in her mouth and she lets him, I recently found pictures of when he dressed her up in football gear, his Mets tee shirts and some other outfits lol.

This is one of the types of dogs we want to add to our family but, we have 2 puggles and if she doesnt get along with other dogs we cant

I'm seriously thinking that I might really love to adopt her. My plan was always to take my dog with me when FH & I moved in together but my mother is very attached. I'll FM you with some questions.
