NWR - Anyone want to adopt a kitten or two?
I have a friend that does cat rescue and she has 3 kittens that she rescued and desperately needs to find homes for. If anyone is interested, I can email pics but I am really bad at posting here. I will post their descriptions though.
Two kittens caught as feral at 6 weeks old, now about 4-5 months old. Siblings, one grey tabby female, one orange tabby male. Both kittens are litter trained, very smart little cats. They both know their names and come running when called. Very food motivated, will do back flips for treats! Both kittens have very siamese like personalities meaning they are both very vocal, very attached and loyal to their owner but aloof with strangers. Whomever adopts these unique kittens will have extremely devoted little companions. They are shadow cats, always following and wanting to be near you. The male loves to sit next to you, just resting his head on your lap. He is very gentle and calm. Would make an excellent companion for a senior citizen as he is young and healthy but very calm and mellow, no crazy running around or other antics. The female follows me everywhere, even crying outside closed doors until I reappear. She will literally climb up your legs to get into your arms. If she could sit in your lap all day she would. She would be great for a single person as she is very much a one person cat. Both kittens will follow you everywhere just like dogs. They are also very long and lean. When they hold their tails up they actually bend them all the way forward until the tips touch their heads! Very different cats! Will make someone really nice pets, although they would might be best in a home without a lot of commotion, (many kids, other animals).
Calico female kitten, about 3-4 months old. Feral kitten who desperately wants to be a house pet! This little girl was born in my background and I have fed her since she began eating solid foods. Up until a couple of weeks ago I couldn't even get near her. Then seemingly overnight she decided she longer wanted to be feral. She began to allow me to pet her and started just walking into my house. Now she no longer wants to go back outside. She is very sweet, loves to be petted and rolls onto her back almost always. She is still a little shy with strangers but considering the fact that only two weeks ago she had never even been touched by a human she is making amazing progress! Loves toys and loves just being near you. Very nice cat.
