I'm going on my 15th cruise in April. There is no vacation in the world like them. Last time I took a suitcase just for shoes....but that's because I like to dress up. I'm in jeans most of the time so this is a good excuse. Don't skimp on the shoes!
This is how I usually plan
Day 1 travel outfit usually worn all day and to dinner
Day 2, 3, 4 etc. Outfit or beach wear what ever your doing for the day. Sometimes you have both in one day or just beach or outfit.
Day 2, 3, 4 etc. Outfit for dinner (also there is usually one Captains dinner which is formal. Your cruise line should be able to tell you which night it is)
Last day travel outfit.
Also on some cruise lines you might have to put your packed suitcases out in the hall late on the last night. so it is always good to take one of those foldable suitcases that you can put your PJ' (ahem![]()
) and AM toiletries
in and throw in your suitcase when you get them back. Also the suitcase can be used for extra 'must have' buys.
