So my FH is SUPPOSED to be off today. I just get a txt which reads: 'Whos the man? I am! while waiting in line i caught a theif LOL. heading home. LOVE YOU!'
FH is a manager at a supermarket and should be enjoying his day off...but where is he??? AT WORK

#2 my FH is like that too... he's always thinking about/talking about/emailing work even when he's not there. he never has a 'day off' and now that i work from home for the company neither do i! we can't escape!

fh is a hard worker but when he is off he doesn't go into work lol...BUT even on his days off he has to keep his work phone by him and they always end up calling him to ask him questions and sometimes he has to give step by step instructions. Sometimes it will be just 1 call but then theres other times where he spends most of the morning having someone calling and him telling them stuff.
Then theres been a few times where even though he stayed home, he had to write software on the work laptop

That's cute!
FH is totall like that!! He's off on He works Sunday -Thursday and every friday when he drops me off at the train station, he heads into work and usually ends up staying all day! I refuse to let him go in on Saturdays, but lots of times we 'end up in the area' so we stop by. It drives me crazy!

My FH stays far far away from work on days off and wont even aswer the phone if they call
but my dad works for a supermarket and actually chased a theif accross Merrick Road into someones back yard while we were doing our weekly grocery shopping. It wasnt his store so he wasnt at work. They gave him a free cake

ya that's my FH.. he's chased people out of the store right at the cops were pulling into the parking lot. i think he should have been in crim. justice instead of a business major in college

it S*cks bc its like your day off so you dont want to deal with that...FH HAS to answer his phone bc if he doesnt and the guys dont know what to do and he doesn't tell them then that means the next day he is going to have to do everything they didn't do on top of all the other things he has to do so it would be double the work the next day

that is my FH's case as well. his department went to SH!T last year when he broke his leg St. Patty's day weekend (on ice not from boozing ) he was going in the week of his surgery on crutches to oversee what was going on. it seems the people he trains that do well never stick around and he is stuck w/ people that do a half A$$ job. Murphy's Law I guess
