NWR: apartments in LI?

Hi ladies

So FH and I have decided to leave Manhattan when our lease is up in March. We really want more space and want to get a second dog, and also FH works in Lynbrook so we want to make his commute easier. We are thinking either Brooklyn or LI, and love Brooklyn but aren't really finding that we can get more space for less money. But finding rentals in LI is hard.

Therefore, my question to everyone is: do you know of any good rental websites that list apartments/houses in LI? (beyond Craigslist). OR even better do you know of any management companies or rental buildings in LI (Nassau Country, preferably within a 20 min drive of Lynbrook area).

Finest Realty has tons of apartments on LI....you should check them out....i'm not sure how far west they go, but you could look. or you could just give up the idea of an apartment....and nassau....and take over our lease on a house in huntington!!!!

I will ask FH. He has a great website for houses and apt.s in LI. Actually my friend just bought an apt. in Lynbrook as they are about to have a baby. I can ask her who they used.
Where in the city did you live ? We are on UES now, but eventually will need to move out, apts are not big at all..
