This post isn't wedding related - but.... FI and I are going to start looking for apartments on Long Island. I would prefer Nassau/ Queens border....
Does anyone have any advice for our search? I've never looked for apartments before!

we are looking to rent. i would love to move to great neck b/c it is close to the city (1/2 hour by train)... but i heard it is very $$ to rent there.

to rent great neck is pretty reasonable from what i've seen. i'm not sure what your budget is though so it's hard to say. good luck!

check out the websites of the bigger realtors in the location you are looking for.. and then hit a few realtors to check out whats out there. North Bayside is a great neighborhood... so is Great Neck, Douglaston.
