FH has been bugging me to go apple and pumpkin picking, but I have no idea where to go. Please recommend places. Thanks!

We are going to the The Milk Pail in Water Mill tomorrow. They have both apple and pumpkin picking. I have never been there but I have hear really good things.

You can go upstate to Fishkill Farms they have a website, the orchid is huge

take a drive up to the north fork--beautiful this time of year . if you drive down sound avenue or 25, you'll see a million places. i can't speak for apples, but i like middle earth farm for pumpkins. have fun!

east north fork- where I'm from.... tonnssss of pumpkin places..... although I probably shouldn't advertise that, we can't stand the 'pumpkin picking crowds' from out west the traffic!!

I have been begging FH since we have been together to take me pumpkin picking and in 10 years, we have never gone... how sad is that?
So needless to say, I have no idea where to go!

In Friday's Newsday (Explore LI section - *************) there's a whole section about where to go pumpkin picking. HTH!
Thats where we were suposed to go today but, we are going next weekend for my b-day instead

We did Wickham Farms in Cutchogue. You drive to the Tanger Outlets and then just keep going on that road. It was EXCELLENT. They had cider, donuts, pumpkin and apple picking, and also had jam. Plus on the way home there were a ton of other places to stop just for fun.

i just got back from stackeys... i dont like picking my own pumpkins cuz i dont like the dirt lollll but fh and i go every year anyway an di just buy a crapload of mums and candy apples lol

we just went to brightwaters farms in bay shore yesterday... they had the most AMAZING pumpkins i have ever seen!!!!! they were tremendous! $.65 per lb, we spent $40 on 5 pumpkins! we carved them out for our STD's yesterday!!!
