NWR: Applying for a passport

How do I apply for a passport? I know I can go to just about any post office but is it easy and quick or a lengthy process? Do I have to wait for them to mail it to me?

At some post offices you have to have an appointment so check the one near you to see if you need one.....you can also go to the town clerk's office.

You can go online and get the forms to fill out. You need a 2 recent pics (You can take them at CVS)
You also need a Birth Certificate and a copy of you drivers license. The Birth Certificate has to be an original and it will be sent along with you application and you will get it back with the passport.

omg we need passports soo bad.
You can actually fill out the forms (can pick them up and fill out at home) maybe that can save some time.

I just did mine today and it took 10 minutes!

Passport

I filled out the form online and printed it out. Then I checked to see which places took the picture on site. Called this morning, they told me to come in at 1 and I was back in my car by 1:08.

You need to have your driver's license with you and official birth certificate (which they take and send out).
