yeah Novo is also $600k for 1 br lol. But we have to move out of Queens . Dh got a promotion and he is in charge of their LI division. He does jobs throughout all of LI and sometimes it will be in nassau and not far away. BUt he also has some days where its far out there. Just today he had to wake up at 5:30am to leave the house by 6am the latest bc he had to be at a job in riverhead by 7am. SInce he has to be at places so early in the morning and some are far, its better if we live in LI.

I want to move back to LI so bad. I miss having a driveway and a YARD! But I just don't miss the LIRR and long commutes. I'll go back eventually...I'm thinking Long Beach.

This thread has officially been jacked! Sorry OP!

I mean, all I am finding apartment wise not complex's or anything, is like basement apartments with crappy low ceilings and ugly kitchens. It's sort of depressing. We don't have alot of money, and I don't want to spend $2,000 on an apartment when I could pay more and own an actual house ya know?

ive actually seen alot of nice apartments that are lets say $1200-1500 range and none are basement apartments. Most are in a house but if you want apartment complexes try fairfield, the one in sayville is $1400 with all utilities included. They also have one is central islip that is about same price and all utitilies included too
