NWR- Archstone Westbury Apartments by the Source Mall! DISGUSTING

My friend moved into these Apts. a few months ago. She has 2 kids and pays over $3000 a month in rent Anyway, her kids have been sick the whole time they lived there. The other day she looked behind the curtains and there were 100s of little mushrooms growing out of the wall!! MOLD!!! I almost throw up just thinking about it. Anyway, now she's staying at the L.I Marriott next to Nassau coliseum.

I read about that in the paper this morning. The rent is so high, it's shocking that the buildings were not maintained properly.

They are called Westbury Manor??? I always pass those and they look sooo beautiful, guess not , thats horrible to hear people get sick and there is mold growing , I would sue!!!!!!!!!!

This is affordable housing??? Free mold with every apartment!

At least you dont have to go to the supermarket for mushrooms. I guess theyre actually SAVING people money

Why are these places so expensive. For that price, Id rent in manhattan.

That is gross. They look so nice. They were built rather quickly -- obviously something wasn't up to code.

Wow, that is one of the complex's FH & I atempted to look in to, but they won't have a 2 bedroom for when we need it.

I'm sorry that your friend is going through this & I hope her kids feel better
