I had two ferrets when i was younger but as you know they don't live long and they both passed away... so when me and FH got an apartment together.. i decided i wanted one again.. he said no, our place is to small for a cage, wait until we get a house....
About 4 months later my best friends girlfriend was on her way to college upstate and was told she wasn't allowed to have any pets... So..i started Ferret Sitting... needless to say My best friends girl friend is back from college and doesn't want Vikki (the ferret) back .. and FH was right our place is too small right now to keep her..
She is a sweet ferret and even gets along with my cat. She doesn't bite and is litter trained. I can two cages for her one is huge about 4ft tall and the other is one of the ground cages it's not that big. and she's only about a year and a half.
If your interested in taking her please FM me. Also i would really like to give her away to someone who has or has had ferrets before or is just an animal lover.

Aww I wish! I had a ferret when I was a kid and I looooooooved it. But I have two giant dogs and DH would literally kill me if I came home with a ferret in a giant cage! Good luck! I'll ask around though!

I can't take her (I'm in IL), but just wanted to say that I am a ferret lover!!!
I have 1 (a girl named Jinx, she is 7 years old....that's super senior for ferrets!). I used to have another one, Bandit, but he died 3 years ago, it was horrible, he had cancer! My Jinx is really lonely, so it would have been great to get her a friend!
I hope you find her a good home! Thats really nice that you have taken her in!

aww i wish i could!!! i had two for a long time. when we got the first one, i wasnt allergic, and as the years went on, and we got a boy ferret- i because really really allergic and had to be drugged up all the time. so not good for my health. i ferrets!!!! i wish i wasnt allergic to everything!!!!!!!!!

My other two where named CoConut and Hemmy.
Coconut my dad brought home for me when i was about 6 and Hemmy my dad rescued for the pet store about a year later, they started him on hard food to early and he got hemorrhoids they said he wasn't for sale and that he was being sent back to then breeder to be put down.. we weren't going to let it happen to him thou so the pet store gave him to us for free and we nursed him back to health. Coconut lived to be 8 yrs old and Hemmy lived to be about 7 1/2. They bought died of cancer. it seems like it's very common disease for them to get.

awwww! Poor babies! At least you were able to give them both great lives! How cute that you named him Hemmy after his hemorrhoid problem lol Ferrets are really adorable! A lot of people don't agree (most of them are my neighbors...blah), but they do make great pets!

I would take her in a heartbeat, as DH has always wanted one. But we don't have room for any more cages - we already have 3 between the two bearded dragons and the iguana

I love Bearded Dragons!! DH would be totally okay if I brought one of those home!
Our friend had one named Darryl and whenever he would come over, he'd just leave Darryl hanging out on his shirt and I wouldn't notice for a good hour that he was even there! I loved it! My dogs didn't even notice him!
