Who watched this show? It is corny but amazing and every single show hits home with me.
I am a real life army wife and every emotion they show in this TV show I have felt. I have been through two deployments and it never gets easier..I live everyday worrying there is another deployment coming up..it is horrible
but something that really hit me about the season finale is what the one solider said to his wife when he was leaving...he said you are the one I am fighting for and I will come home to you..
John has said that to me..
it just made me break down crying..I dont want another deployment..and dont get me wrong I am so proud of John and support him 100% but I just dont want him to leave me ever again..I dont think most people realize but army deploys for 15 months! its so hard and makes you appreciate every second you have with your husband
sorry to vent here but I dont have a journal and I just needed to write that down :(

i love that show.. and this last episode was totally amazing!!! It must be horrible for you. my MOH's brother is a marine.. he was away while his wife had their first baby and didn't get to see her til she was almost 6 months old.. It was just so sad to know that the first time he saw his baby would be in a picture! I just can't imagine what that must feel like for you. We are all here to support you and God bless your FH for what he does..!!! You are def. a strong woman who is marrying a brave man!!!

, my sister could really relate to you her husband has been deployed twice now. and both times she took it very hard, and i know even when she was having a good time in the back of her head she was thinking of him, he's been in the service for 22 yrs now, and all she knows anymore is army life, she has packed up and moved so many times, to be with him. it never gets easier but like you she supports him 100 percent, so here is some hugs and prayers for you,

Sooo sorry I wanted to watch Army Wives with you last night. But I didnt get back from my friends bday party until like 10:45pm. So I taped it haha I caught the end of it though!
But I miss ya and will definitely be calling you after work today! We need to hang out
BUt you know I completely understand about the Army (only different branch haha)!!! It ***** and I hate going through days with no calls not seeing him for a WHOLE YEAR ughh but remember I am always here for you! We can cry together since I miss Chris sooo much!
I actually was crying at the end of Army Wives and called chris and left a message hysterical crying telling him I miss him and he needs to come home and NOT go to Iraq!!!!

I feel so bad for the women who's husbands/bfs are over seas. I dated a man in the army for over 2 years, and he was sent over seas for a year. At one point I went over 6 weeks without a phone call, email, letter..nothing. It was the worst experience. When he came home it was just so different, he had changed so much b/c he was so screwed up from everything he saw. We had some rough times, and decided that its best we stay friends...and we still are! I know he just went away again for 2 weeks (army duty) so I havent spoken to him much. I just cant believe i even made it through! It was the toughest thing ever.

I feel for all you ladies going through this, I can't even imagine. FH's sister is in the army as well as her husband and they are being deployed for 15 months to iraq on september 13th. They only get to come home for 5 days, granted before this they were both stationed in hawaii so they were lucky, but they still only get to come home for 5 days! I can't even imagine this, but I just wanted to say that your husbands are doing a great thing for this country, and they should be so proud of what they are doing !
