I'm throwing a baby shower for my cousin and need some suggestions for favors. I'd like something DIY, but I'm drawing blanks!!! Anyone have any ideas?

Re: NWR- Baby Shower Favors
I threw a babyshower in Feb. I bought the Hershey Minatures (the bag that comes with Mr. Goodbar, Dark Chocolate..etc.) then I made a template on my computer to make labels for them, I did an Elmo theme and wrote her name and shower date and then I wrapped them around the chocolates and secured them with double sided tape. No-one could believe I did them myself..

Re: NWR- Baby Shower Favors
Maybe those baby bottles with candy in them...i saw tthe mini bottles at micheal's
They also have them at wrapwithus.com and their store is located on Long Island too.
I don't have a pic, but my Mom got candy favors for my sister's baby shower from Kerri's Kandies in Coram on Rte 112. It was a baby bootie made of white chocolate dyed in the baby colors blue or pink (she made them in both alternating colors because we didn't know what gender yet). Inside the shoe was M&Ms, and it came wrapped in cellophane and tied with a personalized ribbon.

Homemade cookies...or even easier....get the candy melts from Michael's/AC Moore and the lollipop molds. Cheap and super easy. Good luck!

Actually, we just had my sisters baby shower this weekend and for favors we actually found at Dollar Tree a little dish with a tea light candle in the middle...it came wrapped with a cute riboon and they came in all different pretty girly colors and each plate was just a little different. They looked to pretty on the table...
You'd be surprised what you can find at Dollar Tree!!

Re: NWR- Baby Shower Favors
are you doing centerpieces... b/c i went to a shower where to determine who gets the centerpiece... they had made small white felt diapers.. folded and safety pinned to look like the cloth diapers and if you got one at your place setting with a raisin in it.. then you took home the centerpiece. I thought that was sooo cute.

Re: NWR- Baby Shower Favors
I usually do mini favor bags when I do baby showers (side gig). I also make a pamper cake as a gift/centerpiece. I purchase the mini gift bags from the wholesale district. 12/$6. I fill them w/ a candle/picture frame (w/ the shower info in the window which i print from the computer ) and i make lollipops w/ the melting candy molds and tie them w/ curly ribbon. Everything in the bag is used including the bag. I love the clear bags w/ pink/blue and yellow baby footprints. I can email you pictures.
this is my rock-n-roll Ramones pamper cake. it's made w/ over 100 pampers! I custom make them w/ whatever them the customer wants.
I just went to one recently...they gave lollipops and little sliver stroller paperweights...cute
