FH will be a godfather on Sunday. He was going to buy a cross and chain for him, but was told over the weekend that the baby's grandmother already got it for him. The godmother is buying the outfit.
Any suggestions what else he could get the baby (boy)? We've thought about $, but would also like something material. Help!

i always give US savings bond. that way i know that the child will have it for the future. as i an added extra i will give a small brag book or picture frame.
since your FH is the godfather & everything seems to be taken care of already an ID bracelet is an idea.

I say a savings bond. You could get a $500 one for $250 and by the time he's ready to use it, it'll be up to the $500, probably more.

FH and i got an embroidered baby blanket for his neices baptism. it is such a soft blanket! and on teh trim there is the name...birthdate..baptism date..and a short quote from the bible/.
