Ugh, the summer is over, I got the major checks done for my wedding next summer but didn't do/order any of the small details because, honestly, it's overwhelming. I want everything! FH is concerned with money, so I haven't ordered anything without his approva. Actually, I'm pretty sure he won't approve of anything because of the money, so I guess that's relly why I haven't ordered anything. I'm completely addicted to this website, check it multiple times a day. I told myself I would take a hour or so each week day this summer to prep for going back to work (teacher) next week. Nope, didn't do it. I had also told myself that I'd take July off (I said this after I had already done nothing in the month of July, I guess to make myself feel better) and that I'd do a few hours a day in August to prep. Nope, didn't do that either. So now I'm left with today, gone and I have appointments tonight and hopefully making it to the gym, tomorrow, this weekend I have parties and Monday before I have to back in on Tuesday and students return on Thursday. Ugh! I'm hoping to motivate myself enough to go in tomorrow and check out my new classroom (really it's the back of the auditorium) and see if my things have actually been moved. SO NOT MOTIVATED!!!!!! Am I the only one?????

Nope! I am a teacher too and believe me it ****** going back to work. And to top it all off, I have to go back 2 weeks before school starts for PD! It sucks knowing all of my other teacher friends are enjoying the last 2 weeks of summer while I'm in boring PD!

Think about your friends who don't get the summer off and you'll feel better

ITA! We started already and the kids start Tuesday. I am looking forward to the kids though. Not so much to the dizzying mess NYS is making our lives!

OMG, I don't think anyone understands the SLO's. As a special ed teacher there is no definitive answer as to whether or not our classes even count toward needing a SLO.
