nwr: bcp help

I need help ladies, Im on BCP called Loestrin 24. I was suppose to get my period on Saturday but she no showed. Im suppose to start my next pill pack tonight, Should i start it with out having a period or should i wait untiil she comes and then start it? I dont know why im late. I usually get my periods on the 1st all the time. I dont know it could be why but i finished the pack im suppose to get it.

After about a year on Loestrin, my period changed a little bit. I found myself waiting longer than I usually did... I think you should still take your pill even though you didnt get your period. Call your doctor tomorrow though, just to be safe.

thanks, it was just a year this mth. So maybe that is what it is from. I will wait and see, if i dont get it today then i wait untili get it to take the pills again.

with my new pill, I get my period on the 2nd dayo f the new pack.. ODD I KNOW! but that's how it's been working out lol lol lol
so yes definitely start the new pack.. if you don't get it by like 1-2 days into new pack... I would call the Dr.

dont take it yet ! you have to wait until you get your next period ! otherisie if u take it tonight u wont get your period at all. ive been having that prob but now im on a steady schedule . im not on loestrin but i know what your talking about. i asked my doc the same question and she told me take your next pack the following sunday after your period. even if you dont take any pills for a few days , your body still has the hormones in it.

well i cant be preggo, the test was neg i dont know what is going on, i going to wait until i get it to take the pill i hope i get it by the first if not i will have to go to the yucky md.. lol

Good luck! I've been thinking about you all day with this! In all honesty, I think I would just take it because really, to me, a month without a period while knowing you are NOT pregnant sounds like a blissful thing. Although, being on Loestrin, I have not had even a single cramp or pain yet!

when i was on the pill, and if i didnt get my period when it was suppose to... i just continued... with the new pack... it takes a while for your body to get used to the 'drugs'.... i'm sure nothing is wrong, if the test came back neg you're ok.. ur body is just adjusting to the new pill

My doctor told me to continue taking the pills and that your body just gets thrown off from time to time bc of stress, being sick, etc so its normal.

i think that is what it was i was sick the week b/4 xmas and i was taking cold meds, Im just going to wait intil Sunday and if i dont get it ill just take it Sunday, Ladies thanks for all the help!!! you ladies are great

taking meds and stuff can definitely throw it off!!!!! but when it happened to me i started the new one asap... and it came anyway... just very light for a few days and then next month i was right on schedule!
