Several things to be aware of this year... as gangs and robbers are now plotting different ways to get a person to 'stop' their vehicle. Please note:
There is a gang initiation reported by the local police department that gangs are placing a car seat by the road... with fake baby in it... waiting for a woman, of course, to stop and check on the baby. Note that the location of this car seat will usually be beside a wooded or grassy [field] area.. and the person - a woman - will be dragged into the woods... beaten, raped, and usually left for dead.
DO NOT STOP... DIAL 911 AND INFORM THEM.
If you are driving at night and eggs are thrown at your windshield... Do not operate the wiper and spray any water because eggs mixed with water become milky and block your vision... You are then forced to stop beside the road and become a victim of robbers. This is a new technique used by robbers...

But If i decided to be DUMB enough to stop my car, then if something happens to me, Should I tell my fam. members to Blame SNOPES.COM for getting me into trouble and saying that those advices are a lie?

Dude I'm not trying to start anything. I just replied 'K.' as in...'okay'.
I'm just saying that not everything you read on the internet or in e-mails is true. Yes, you should exercise caution. But a lot of the stuff in chain e-mails are not true, and shouldn't cause panic.

theres nothing wrong with being cautious... but believing every chain email you read is silly....

I dont believe 'Everyting' Like i said, I prefer to be safe than sorry... So if i read something and it seems sort of true (or if i believe it) then I will keep it in mind. But just becasue a WEBSITE its telling 'It's ok to STOP and get out of a car in the middle of the night if you see a car seat' I wont do it!! bc that would b DUMB!
So u have to use common sense.. those da makes senses???

Of course use common sense. I wouldn't stop by car for anyone, especially at night and if I was by myself. If I saw an old lady in the day, yeah I would stop to help her with her car or call someone, but at night I'm not stopping for anyone. I'll call for help I guess.
The thing is all those forwards (a lot of them) are not true. There aren't gangs setting up that plan and doing it.

I don't think the website is telling people it is okay to stop and get out of the car in the middle of the night if you see a car seat. What the website is saying is that claims that these things are actually happening are FALSE. Gangs are not leaving carseats in the middle of the road to rape nad beat women. Obviously you shouldn't get out of your car in the middle of the night...common sense.

I was at a training by the Suffolk County Probation dept last week and basically what was said about gans is that you think you're a lot more valuable then you really are to gang members. Gang members do not go looking to hurt a random person, they are more likely to hurt a rival gang member person or a gang members girlfriend or such.
But in any case take precautions b/c you never do know.
