we went to 'The Place' in Farmingdale. on route 110.

we were pretty happy, can't complain too much. When they delivered the couch it had a lot of dust on one section, but that's about it.

i like siegerman's and the place on 110. fortunoff is also good. raymour and flanigans has great delivery times (3 days) since they stock most pieces. delivery time really depends on what your buying and if you're making any changes. i ordered a leather sectional from the place and delivery time is 16-22 weeks (!!) because i chose a nonstock color in that piece.

Just stay away from Jennifer leather/convertible.

Lost of complains with district attorneys for poor quality, customer service, etc.

Took me 8 months and 5 replacement sofas to be the issue fixed.

I second that, they are horrendous!!! I used Ethan Allen, pricey, but good quality!!

oh man!!!! where was this post last month??? i ordered my couches from jennifer convertibles and they're being delivered tomorrow. keep your fingers crossed for me that i dont have any problems!!!

I just received my furniture from Raymour & Flanigan. They have a large selection and are reasonably priced. Delivery and set up went great.

Macys and Pottery Barn are my favorite, good quality and very nice looking furniture that will not make you go broke...

And for apartment furniture I say go with IKEA...in my opinion they have nice 'disposable' furniture...

We were very happy with the furniture we got from Levitz and Seaman's.

Also, we got some great tables from Tiffany Furniture on Rt 110.
