NWR: Best place for bagels??

We're going to Vegas this weekend for FH's friend's wedding who moved to AZ from LI. He asked us to bring him some bagels from home.

Considering I was spoiled on Brooklyn bagels, I have no idea where the best place is to get really good bagels around here. The only places I know of are Bagel Boss and a deli on Main St. in Smithtown by Daffy's.

Any recommendations? Western Suffolk preferred, but FH works in Melville.

In smithtown, on 25 (jericho), near where 25 meets old willets path, there is a little strip w/ a dominos, a grooming place, and a small, family-run bagel shop.

Best bagels I've had around here, hands down. They boil 'em, then bake 'em up. They're pretty big, too.

i second town bagel. although i have not eaten their bagels, i often eat the bagels from the massapequa location of town bagel. yum!

near Melville there is a good place in aiport plaza in Farmingdale on rt. 110. Their is also a good place in Huntington Village. Dix Hills bagels is good. Closer to me, they have HUGE bagels at a place in Farminville on rt. 83 next to K-Mart. Also, Lina's Tasty Bagels in Centereach on Middle Country and also Strathmore bagels and good too!

YES, THE ONE IN AIRPORT PLAZA IS BAGEL FACTORY. VERY GOOD. AIRPORT PLAZA IS RT 110 AND CONKLIN.

I love Hot Bagels on 111 and 347 in the Dunkin Donuts and OTB shopping center in Hauppauge Plaza- the place doesnt look like much but they have the BEST bagels

The place on Route 83 (North Ocean Avenue) in the Kmart shopping center is the best. Oh my god I want one right now. It used to be called Bagel Oasis, not sure of the name now. The best ever!!!!

There's also a bagel place in Douglaston..can't remember the name. They have the best salt bagels on the planet! Warm all melty with cream cheese.

There's another I think off of Kissena Blvd by Queens College..use to stop there when I had class. Don't remember the name of that one either.
