NWR - Birth Control

Anyone on Low-estrin e24?

I like never get my 'friend' anymore and wondering if this is normal. I only have 4 days of the brown/placebo pills maybe that is why???

im on Lutera... but how long have you been on it?

I think this is my 4th packet. I usually get my friend for mannnny days but since I started I get it for a day or not even that! WOW!

How is your pill going

I was on it for 3 months and it gave me terrible headaches so it switched. I heard it might make you skip periods or have spotting on it because you are supposed to have shortened periods. I didn't want to have to worry about skipped periods so I switched back to a regular pill.

It's probably the pill doing it though.

well its the first month... it is okay... im on the '4th' week now loll so its okay but its only been 2 days so far...slight spotting but overall it is good..no weight gain so far what so ever which was what I was worried about...how do you like yours?

This has been asked before and happens to lots of LIW girls, you can do a search and see. I know because I'm on it, and my ears perk up when I see a thread about it. So when I started LoEstrin 24, I was looking forward to never getting a period... but mine are still 4 days long.

i'm on Loestrin..i LOVE it. It took me a few months in the beginning to get on track, but now I get my period for maybe 2 days. Its great

give it time..i usually get my period on the 3rd day of the brown pills

I am on Mircette, which is also a low dose pill. My 'friend' is very unpredictable since I've been on it. Some months I get it, some I dont. I didnt get it for a year once. The doctor said its normal with those types of pills.

Yeah I did get headaches the first month but its better now. I guess it is normal to not get my period but weird! I feel bloated and all but nothing!

Also fh is worried about when I go off and trying to have kids.I don't plan on being on this very long...like 2 yrs max!

I just got off the pill but it was working great! I had my periods for 3-4 days and they were super light days. I stopped because FH and I were worried about having kids later on. I was on it for a year. I don't want to take any chances because at the en dof the day these are serious drugs that mess with your hormones and I don't want any added stress when starting a family. But if it works for you go for it. When you want to start a family stop the pill waaaay in advance.

i was on it and i would get it friday night after the last pill on wed. I was on it a Year and then after that i started spotting and then not getting my period so i changed to Yaz.

i am on yaz which is similar, and i only get my frined for one of 2 days, its normal it shortens your cycle! i love it!

Ok I guess this is normal. I was just nervous I could be pregnant! (Although it really was not even remotely possible!)

Also no acne or weight gain here.

I am on Loestrin and I loveeeee it...because you really dont get a period. I was on YAZ but would get a longer period...so I switched. I think its great I havent gained weight and it doesnt have any side effects on me...I spoke to my GYN about the short almost non existent periods and he said that it was normal!
