anyone have suggestions on how to get rid of my blackheads? i have dry skin so i think it might be all the lotion i'm using...anyway they may be small but they are gross and i want them gone....TIA!

Clinique Pore Minimizing cream
AMAZING.
I have oily skin so i'm so prone to blackheads, I use Clinique liquid face wash (for oily skin, they have one for dry skin too) and that cream and my skin looks so much better.
ETA: I agree that the strips are awesome for a quick fix....I was talking more long term

i use the strips too they can be a little painful but if you have a problem taking it off you just put a little bit of water on it makes it less painful and much easier to take off

Do you have insurance? Go to the dermatologist...they have a tool to get them out. Or you can buy one...THey get those suckers right out!

Not at all. The only thing people do incorrectly is leave them on too long and they try to pull them off, that's why you may have heard this. It hurts then, but only slightly, it's not actual pain, it's just annoying. But if this happens and they're too 'dried', then just wet your finger with warm water to soften the edges, then they'll come right off.

it probably is, but i dont get that many - when i see one i just squeeze it and its gone! i cant stand to see one on my face! i won't pop pimples though - when i get a pimple its always like a single HUGE pimple - and i refuse to pop it....but i always squeeze out my blackheads!!

What exactly IS a blackhead? I've always wondered. Is it like a pimple or is it those little flat dots on your nose, you know t he ones that the biore strip pulls out?

when i go for facials they do this...BUT WOW does it hurt lol. But its worth it in the end

No no, I DO have those little black dots on my nose, but I just thought they were pores? Trust me, I used to have cystic acne when I was in HS. Blackheads were the least of my problems
