it is still his style,, of repeating key things and words..
But there are over 50 characters in and a lot of information about Los Angelos in it. It is basically a look in to all the lives of these people seperatly.
It is very edgy like the other 2 books.
So far I am liking it.

Isn't he the one that apparently, 'allegedly,' made up everything in 'A million little pieces'?? He said it was a memoir but it was all fiction? I don't know too much about it but I remember the name.

Never read any of his stuff though, is it good?

i love oprah but i really feel like she was unfair about the whole thing with the book. he didn't make up everything, he used the truth and expanded it to make it a story--which is what almost every memoir author does for effect.

both books are amazing and dare i say 'life changing' if you ever have had somebody in your life with drug/alcohol addiction, the books ring so true! even if not, they are both great reads!

The way i looked at the books were for me they were emotional and gripping. There are parts that are hard to read, because they are just soo honest to what is or could be,, in anyones lives.

i totally agree! i felt like both books were so honest and raw--whether or not he embellished the facts or not were inconsequential to me!
