Re: NWR: Books

not sure what books you like but the Sookie Stackhouse Series (what True Blood is based on) is pretty fun!

I like most of Jodi Picoult's books

The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns are both AMAZING

Love Wally Lamb... especially I Know This Much is True... one of my all time favorites

I second the Help... it's by Kathryn Stockett

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet is AMAZING and I also really liked World Without End by the same author. Starz has a mini series based on Pillars out right now!

Re: NWR: Books

series -

Nelson Demille's books featuring John Corey. They all take place on LI or NYC, so they are nice for girls like us. There are 4 books, not sure of the order, I think it's The Lion's Game, Wildfire, Nightfall and The Lion

I just started a light series by Debbie Macomber - look up the Cedar Cove series

Harlan Coben is good, writes stand alone mysteries and also books about a character Myron Bolitar

Black Dagger Brotherhood (8 books)
The Hollows (8 books)

And I also recommend The Host by Stephanie Meyer

Can you tell I'm a SCI FI junkie?

'The Help' was great. I just read 'The House at Riverton' by Kate Morton and loved it.

I also second Wally Lamb--'She's Come Undone' and 'I know This Much is True.'

For heavier reading John Irving is always the man!

I just finished If You Knew Suzy by Katherine Rosman

Feel good book about a reporter who loses her mom to cancer but gets to know her mother by interviewing people that knew her mom at different stages of life.
