NWR: Books

Anyone reading/read any good books lately?

I just finshed Something Blue by Emily Giffin. Was really good.

Anyone read this or the 1st book Something Borrowed? Or seen the movie?

OMG!!!! Amazing!!! I read both of them on vacation during the summer (in order) and loved it!!! I saw the movie too.. I loved all of them! Read something borrowed!! It gives you everything from Rachel's point of view.

Read both. Movie isn't great next to the book--but they're okay.

Just finished The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks and it was good, not as good as other books by him but I'm a sucker for love stories and whenever he comes out with a new book I have to read it!

Ive actually never read any of his books but have seen a few of the movies based off his books. I really want to read The Notebook to see how it compares to the movie.

You should definitely read The Notebook!! The movie does not do the book justice...I remember reading it and crying like a baby...lol

I hate when they turn books into movies. They almost NEVER come close to comparing. And then they decide to change the most important parts!

I actually like seeing when books are turned into movies.. gives the characters faces.. The whole time I read Something Borrowed/Blue I was picturing Kate Hudson and Ginnfer.. (forget her last name) LOL. But its true.. the movies will never be better then the books!

Actually though.. has anyone ever saw Limitless with Bradley Cooper? That movie is based off a book and that was the 1st movie I ever saw that was BETTER than the book. I tried reading it after seeing the movies, because I figured it would be so much better and the book was terrible. I couldn't even finish it. I'm mad I paid $9.99! lol.. FH finished it (we were reading together) and he thought it was terrible also lol. I guess there's always a 1st for everything haha
