Re: NWR: Boxes for moving
If you don't want to buy boxes then start collecting from work whenever they get supply orders in. You can also go to any grocery store and ask them if they have boxes from a truck delivery or ask when a truck is delivered so you can go that day and get boxes.
If you want to purchase them you can do so at any storage facility, Home Depot or you can order them online and have them shipped to you.
You should also look on Craigslist to see if anyone has posted that they have boxes to get rid of from a recent move.
HTH!

Re: NWR: Boxes for moving
FH and I moved last year. If you work in an office....grab as many paper boxes as you can. Those work great because they have the lids and handles.
Also, if you know anyone that works in grocery stores, ask them to get you egg boxes. I have a friend who works at Pathmark and he got us like 10 egg boxes....those things are awesome....VERY sturdy.

Re: NWR: Boxes for moving
i got them cheap at Home Depot, like 97 cents for medium sized boxes. The large boxes are wierd shapes, and hard to move. I recommend the mediums

Re: NWR: Boxes for moving
Ugh we just threw away about 20 large super heavy duty boxes because I said no one would need them.
however, I'm a big fan of the boxes that staples sells, it's an organized way of moving that doesn't cost very much.

Re: NWR: Boxes for moving
If your willing to pay a little find a Uhaul. Even if your not using their trucks you can find boxes for moving.

If you need those soft plastic zip-around 'boxes' for sweaters and clothes, definitely go to Container Store.
