My fiance and I are looking to move by September to Brooklyn. It's more convient for us than where he current lives and where I currently live. I work Brooklyn and commuting from the LI is a nightmare especially in the winter. He works in Queens. we both actually prefer the borough of Brooklyn though. We are looking in Bay Ridge anf Kensington. Do any of you live or work in these areas? Do you know the average price of a 2 bedroom? Thanks.

I used to love in Kensignton, right across the street from PS.179. The area is still very nice and quiet, mostly Jewish and East Indian. My aunt still lives there and she pays 1k a month for 1 bedroom.

In bayride, I would say average price is about 1500-1600 for a 2 bedroom.
