NWR--Brooklyn Driving Vent!!!!

OK seriously, what is wrong with Brooklyn drivers?? I moved here 8 months ago and I love it, but these people are insane!!! No offense to you Brooklyn brides, I'm sure you're great drivers. I love brooklyn, but I cannot stand driving here and unfortunately I am in outside sales. My new job is awesome, but I get stressed out just from driving.

Feel better venting. DH doesn't understand because he's from here.

I'm originally from Brooklyn - 29 years of my life there, and I am reminded every time I go back to visit how much worse the drivers are out there.

Although Queens is not much better, and Long Island is not that far behind, it's an improvement!!

i live in brooklyn and i agree. i hate driving here. ppl are SO impatient and that drives me insane! there's ppl double parking and parallel double parking everywhere, drivers speeding (to a red light), constant honking, running red lights...

i'm a brooklyn gal born and bred but with all the noise polution and stress, i'm ready to get outta here! no offense to any fello brooklyners.

I'm not from Brooklyn but I always invite our brooklyn relatives to come to LI and visit because I just don't have the patience

Oh God I forgot about that!!! Don't get me started on the people who double park!!! What REALLY pisses me off is when someone is double parked and sitting in the car and yet there's a space maybe 50 feet ahead!!! You can't pull into the damn spot??!! Even if there's a hydrant, at least you're in the car, get the hell out of the street!!

Kings Highway and also Avenue U is notorious for this.....
