So I joined the tanning salon for the month to get color for the wedding. I've been using the stand up one. Today I go and start to use the stand up one and only 2 out of 4 lights are working. They turn off the power and try again. Still only 2 lights worked. They tell me to use a tanning bed, which part of me knew I should have just used a lower level stand up instead.
I showered after the tanning salon and saw a little color. I was totally wrong! I came home from my 2nd fitting and my entire body is red! I got burnt from the stupid tanning bed! So not happy. I'm covered in aloe now because my skin is burning. I really hope I don't peel. I was doing so well until today. So not happy with myself.

I burn so easily, I can't even do tanning beds.

ive gotten burnt from the tanning bed before and i dont peel from it, but keep putting aloe on it

I'm going to have to keep reapplying. I'm concerned about the peeling because I usually peel from when I burn from the sun.
I also have to make sure I wear capris and not shorts around my dad until the red goes away. He will flip if he sees me burnt. He wanted me to stay my pale white for the wedding because its healthy. lol

You have 3 weeks so I think you should be fine but if you start to peel exfoliate - I use St. Ives. I think you should be perfectly fine by then though.

So over night some of the red turned into tan. Hopefully the rest does soon! I really got it bad on my back because I was in the bed. I have to go again on Saturday but might not if I'm still really red.
When I had my dress on last night, it actually looked whiter than it is(Its really ivory.) because I wasn't my pasty white. Loved it even more!
So I will keep trying to have a tan despite my back and a** being burnt!

The stand up you're standing up and are surrounded by four sets of lights. The beds youre laying down and are right on top of the lights. That's how my entire back became burnt. I'd rather do the stand up.
