NWR - But frustrating!!
I threw clothes into the wash before and towels into the dryer because I need clothing for work and for a grad party that I am going to straight from work. I go down an hour later and the towels aren't even warm!! And of course still wet!! I need the towels for tommorrow morning and the clothing for tommorrow morning!! I put the towels back into the dryer and it seems to be working now, but this is so frustrating because I need to go to bed too!!! I hate when electronics randomly decide not to function! And this dryer had better work tonight or I'm getting up early and taking everything (in my PJs) to the laundry palace a few blocks away so I can dry it!! NOT what I want to do tommorrow!

Can you register for a new dryer???
Or hang the important clothes and towel somewhere on a drying rack near a fan so maybe they'll dry by morning in case your dryer goes out again?

Sometimes when you have the washer and dryer on at the same time it goes on overload and doesn't work as well. Happens to me sometimes too. Definitely register for a new one if you can

Re: NWR - But frustrating!!
My friend sent me an e-mail about dryers once. He said that simply taking the lint out of the lint catcher isn't enough. You need to wash the lint screen under water with soap. He said you can tell if it is clogged with little particles by running it under water and seeing how quickly the water seeps through the screen. If it takes a while to go through, you need to wash it to make sure the dryer functions at its best and doesn't present a fire hazard! Who knew!!!

Re: NWR - But frustrating!!
Its my parent's dryer so I'm not registering for a new one! At my FH's we have a 6 month old Whirlpool Duet set (a-w-e-s-o-m-e). I finally said freak the towels and just threw my clothing in hoping that since it is lighter than the towels it would dry. Thankfully it did! This morning my mom told me that it is because its so rainy and humid out....the little bit of lint that gets into the ducts gets moist and clogs up. she showed me how to bang on the ducts just enough that it clears the lint out and the dryer works again. Thanks for your support though!!!ETA: I did iron 2 of the thinner towels dry so I could shower this morning!
Luckily they weren't as damp as the others!

This happened to me the other day also. I started a load friday for saturday. So before I went to bed I went in to fold them so they dont wrinkle and they were WET!! I thought DH went in the dryer looking for clothes and didnt restart it but that wasn't the case. But they did end up drying. Very fustrating!Welcome New Vendors
