So FH and I just had to go to the laundromat. Why? Because our washing machine caught on fire this morning Soooo scary! We were ready to grab our valuables and run, but FH got i under control.
Anyone have any experience with spontaneously comvbusting home appliances?

I KNOW!!! That was my first thought! Now the fried washer is just sitting there with like 40 gallons of water in it and I have no idea what to do!

Yikes!
I have had a toaster oven spontaneously combust...but a washer? Was it on the back with the electric parts? Could water have gotten in somewhere that it shouldn't be? That would be my guess

I once managed to start a fire in the dishwasher when I worked at Disney World. My new roommate was walking through the door and there I was trying to put the fire out. . She dropped her suitcase so fast and ran over to help us out. What a first impression huh?
