I put myself through college on scholarships, loans, a wing and a prayer. I had no help from anyone and it took me a long time of working and going to school FULL-time, part-time...anytime I had.

well, I just paid off the balance on one of my loans. I am so relieved to have one less debt going into my marriage, and it is a reminder of what I can do on my own. One more to go...chipping away! LOL

Just wanted to share.

eta: this also means I can start on Grad school. I promised myself I would wait until I whittled my debt down (the CUNY isn't as paid as private) and now the fun begins again!! I LOVE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

you know what.. congrats... I know how you feel... I did go to Grad school for three years after private school and I am still paying it all off.. Sallie Mae and me are tight!!!
