Should we save Hawaii for our anniversary in a few years or Italy.
What would you do?

We've been to the Caribbean many times but I've never been overseas. He's been to Japan.

I think Italy sounds more romantic, but if you'd feel obligated to go sight-seeing rather than relax, then maybe Hawaii. Besides, palm trees are ALWAYS a good idea

I agree, if you two want to just relax then go to Hawaii
I would love to go to Italy one day

Re: NWR-but I need some input
that's the trouble. We were thinking that Hawaii may be nice for his 40th and Italy since it's so romantic for our anniversary.
But both are romantic. I don't want to sight see the whole time at either place. We appreciate the sights but want to relax.
Hey-it's always a good day when I see a palm tree!

Either one would be a great trip, but my personal choice would be Italy. I think Hawaii is more of a HM spot and better suited for an anniversary.

Re: NWR-but I need some input
italy will be more turisty(sorry i can't spell)..hawaii is i fell more beaches spas and relaxation as well as if you want to see some volcanos and other sites and stuff... it really depends on the time you have..
If you have 2 or more weeks i would go to italy b/c theres alot to do if it's a shorter time frame try hawaii

interesting...DH thought Italy would be more romantic.....
I know both are great spots and obviously we could't go wrong with either.
Has anyone been to both?

When do you want to go? If the weather is nice at that time in Italy, I would go to Italy b/c the beaches are beautiful there too.

Re: NWR-but I need some input
We LOVED the marriot beach club and resort in Kauai near the air port. they were so great. we did not like the four seasons in maui - but loved the wilea area - i wish we stayed at the fairmont there.
