NWR - But I thought I might receive some good suggestions.

I work at Stony Brook University and one of my students is in an Engineering Club and every year they have an Engineering Ball/Dance. Last year they had the Ball at Stony Brook, but this year they want to go off campus for a couple reasons.

Anyway, does anyone know of a place that is about 1/2 hour away from Stony Brook that would host about 300? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Chateau Briand in Carle Place has a room called the Leonardo DaVinci Room. It holds up to 600 people. Also, there is the Westbury Manor in Westbury, their room called the Manor Room holds up to 448 Guests. Check out their site. http://www.scottobrothers.com/

Good Luck
